Atlantic City

At a meeting at Herald Sq Macy's, 34th St Manhatten. We were told to go back to our offices with no explanation. But, we saw from 19th floor windows facing Trade Center what was happening. Stood watching and saw first tower fall. After that I couldn't watch. Couldn't leave the city until trains started running again, just around 5 pm. It was a sea of people at Penn Station. Got on the first train heading to Trenton and looked back as we came out of Lincoln Tunnell to see the smoke rising from the collapsed towers. It was surreal that day and continued for well over a year with high alerts and bomb threats. But, it was a united NYC and cared about each other. Hard to believe it was 25 yrs ago. Still fresh in my mind, along with the Pentagon and Flight 93.
