Cape May County

Local governments across the board are allowing overcrowding in nearly every vacation rental unit. These builders tear down small traditional bungalows to build a slightly larger single family home then shove 20-50 people a week in there. Which means one vacation rental could be flushing in between 200-500 times a week compared to a year round home which flushes about 35-50 times per week. Now we’re wondering why it stinks in Avalon. It stinks in Lower Township as well but less people live right next to the MUA to talk about it.
