Cape May Court House

I was working on K street in the heart of Washington DC on the morning the terrorists attacked us. It was my first job out of university and I had an apartment just overlooking the Pentagon and I had driven through their outer parking lots on my way to work as I did each day. I was just getting to the office that morning when I heard on the radio about a small plane hitting the first tower. Within the next hour, our whole team was gathered around a small TV in the conference room in fright and anger and sorrow. I saw the smoke from the Pentagon attack and realized how vulnerable we were.
