I was driving to the airport in Philadelphia and did not have the radio on .My plan was to fly to a birthday party for several family members.Our son called to say "Mother something happened in New York and no one is sure what is going on ,but a plane flew into a building and it may have been deliberate." Turning on the radio did not clear up the confusion because there was just chaos. Like a pollyanna i just kept driving to catch my plane .When I got there ,a policeman met me at the curb and ordered me not to get out of the car because all the airports in the US were closed.
