The tragedy of The Wetlands Institute is upon us and has been for sometime. A wonderful landmark on Stone Harbor Blvd. is now being demolished and for what "reasons": sea level rise, a failing structure, or simply just an ego project? A public institution spanning generations will now be flooded with hubris and uninspiring architectural detail. Thanks for another eye sore at the Jersey Shore and we look forward to kayaking under the shadows of a once great institution.
