After reading about what the Mua employees are dealing with, it’s hard not to wonder why leadership has allowed the situation to get this bad. When workers can receive a raise and still take home less money because of healthcare costs, something is fundamentally broken. If the reports are accurate, these workers are justified in demanding change. They’re going to need persistence, unity, and a lot of luck—because it appears they’re not getting much help from the people who should be solving the problem.
