I would like to express concerns regarding the recent promotion decision. Many members of the Beach Patrol believe there were other candidates whose experience, leadership, attendance, performance, and commitment to the department more closely aligned with the responsibilities of the position. Promotions have a significant impact on morale and confidence in the organization. To maintain trust among personnel, it is important that promotion decisions are based on clear, objective criteria and that the selection process is transparent and consistent.
