Cape May County

I'm a member of the NJEA and obviously I support teachers' collective bargaining rights and efforts to ensure that teachers are treated as professionals. However, I could never stand that when NJEA endorses a candidate they badger me with tons of bullet points that are at best tenuously connected to my profession: social justice, immigration, LBQT... Green New Deal.. etc." I want my union to stick to the issues that directly impact my livelihood. People can support those other causes if they want to, but don't do it w/ my union dues.
