Cape May County residents expected the Open Spaces program to preserve open space. When was the last it actually did that? All of the $ goes to fishing piers, sports fields, bike paths, etc. Everything except actually preserving open space. The Open Spaces program was meant to preserve open space. Nothing else! Development is destroying more acreage year after year and the Open Space program is making no real effort to preserve open space! Overdevelopment is out of control in Cape May County. We need to preserve much more land fast! What we don't need is any more housing developments anywhere
