I recommend the Herald curtail all responses to Spouts immediately. Allow people to use the Spoutoff as a platform for the free and open exchange of ideas and opinions . If someone disagrees , let them do it in privacy of their home. There is no need for the Herald to provide a forum for a continuous flow of vitriol and hate. There are very few replies that actually attempt to create a constructive dialogue. Eliminate the replies and create a more positive and perhaps interesting flow of Spouts. Perhaps reintroduce in the future but for now , it’s the responsible thing to do.
