The crazy numbers the naysayers are throwing around regarding Crest Memorial's proposed transition to tuition are so absurd it should make you question everything they stand for. Here's some real numbers. For a $400,000 home, only $1,504 of the tax levy goes to CMS. The proposed tuition of $3,000 is nearly double what local taxpayers pay to the school. If families are willing to pay that, I say let them! It's probably the only way to drive down the cost of the school and lessen its burden to taxpayers. I want to know the names of BOE members who oppose it so I can vote them out next electio
