I think the county of cape may should get out of the bridge business. The county bridges are well past their life expectancy. Give the bridges to the state and let them pay for the tremendous upkeep. Nothing but a money pit. Let the state pay if they want a bridge between cape may and the crest or Avalon to Sea isle and so on. That is why north Wildwood bridge got replaced with a new fixed span bridge because it is a state rd and bridge. Such a waste of resources that only benefit a small few.
