Once again, a Spouter has gotten it wrong. The Stone Harbor Chamber of Commerce is not funded by the Borough of Stone Harbor. The Borough does not write checks to the Chamber, nor do they fund the Welcome Center or staff members' salaries Re: parking fees increasing in our business district, the borough is not supposed to make money on paid parking. Paid parking was implemented to help move cars in and out of the downtown business district so patrons can park close by and not in residential spaces - not as a means of income beyond covering the cost of ParkMobile. Do your homework.
