In NJ, State Senators have the power of “courtesy.” This power enables them to block specific appointments made by the Governor, including judges and county prosecutors. Mike Testa has been Senator since 2019, but yet both Cape May and Cumberland Counties still have woke, anti-cop liberal prosecutors. If Testa is the shining example of how republicans should be in this state, why has he not worked to have these prosecutors replaced? Is it because he is too concerned with upsetting the powerful democrats who allow him to remain in office?
