Dear geniuses, the fact that over 2700MW of power generation have been shut down in NJ over the past ten years and less than half of that capacity replaced is why the bills are going up. The tax payer funded brilliant ideas out of Trenton weren't going to make up the difference with their intermittent output by burning through your money either. We've lost a nuclear plant, coal and gas generation facilities and even a hydroelectric facility that was torn down rather than being updated to great fanfare celebrating that the fish could now freely migrate. Not gonna get any cheaper.
