Just read an article on the herald concerning beach fees. All I can say is wow, the towns that charge them are raking it in, millions per year. Sure there are expenses associated with fees but if it was a break even operation they would not be doing it. They are making money. Then you have the complainers. If you own a home at the shore you can afford the $50 a year If you can’t afford to spend. $50 a year to enjoy a beach either you should not be traveling this far for vacation here or stay closer to home.
