There should be no national flood insurance or beach replenishment. Anyone that lives anywhere near water should do so at their own risk and expense! The rest of us shouldn’t have our tax dollars going to protect the homes of those that voluntarily live in the riskiest of all locations. Every house on the barrier islands could wash into the ocean for all I care.
