The City of Wildwood has a lot of new construction that is supposed to increase the tax base but our taxes keep going up. Why is this ? Is it because of 10,15 and 20 year tax abatement ? I can under stand maybe a 5 or 10 year abatement in the redevelopment zone of Pacific avenue but it is all over the city. How is this fair to the resident property tax payers that have been here for 10 ,20 or 30 years or more ?
