Definition of a liberal: 1. (in a political context) favoring policies that are socially progressive and promote social welfare. 2. a supporter of a political and social philosophy that promotes individual rights, civil liberties, democracy, and free enterprise. So my question is this: Why do those who lean to the right; or should I say far right, like to use the term "liberal" as a childish insult?
