The article also states new tenants are replacing evicted tenants with higher rents. One in four of 51 million tenant households surveyed report no confidence of making next month's payment. Princeton Universities eviction Lab report landlords filed 3.7 million evictions in a typical year. 2021 will not be typical. Median price of a used home is now 363,000 . Land is scarce for new construction.
