I know that several years ago a NJ law was enacted that required police to be at all highway construction and other projects (like the never ending tree trimming). Since then I have seen many officers (mostly local) out of their cars enhancing driver and workplace safety. I wonder if our newly created traffic State Police traffic safety units will be as helpful.
