I just saw the major items on the agenda for moderate House Democrats are aid for education and rural broadband. Both should be taken care of in the next stimulus bill. The $1200 stimulus checks alone will cost $250+ billion. The entire bill will surely total more than $500 billion. Especially in the context of passage of a continuing funding bill, $50 billion for these two worthy items seems acheivable. Both parties can then move on to higher education. The colleges receive pots of money. Still, even with the millenials now past college age, only about 36% of us have a B.A. or B.S. 36%!
