Why do all the businesses in the City have to pay huge mercantile license fee, taxes, etc. but Wildwood Downtown Business hands over the empty lot on Schellenger and Pacific Ave to Belmont Magic for FREE to run a business. Multiple ticketed shows each week, food & drink sales and they are living in a Motor Home on that property. Does City of Wildwood pay attention to what is going on? Why would WBID do this and how can the City of Wildwood allow this? Shouldn’t they be required to pay the City to conduct business just like every other business does.
