Kudos to Republican Sen. Jeff Flake from Arizona for standing tall and not endorsing Trump for a second time. Flake has been an outspoken critic of Trump's statements, tone, and policies. One month ago, Trump threatened Flake to fund a super-PAC to defeat Flake at the polls in 2018. Now VP Candidate Pence attempted to broker a behind the scenes endorsement from Flake, and Flake refused. Arizona is a red, Republican state that is in jeopardy to swing blue, Democrat because of Hispanic voters. Flake shows that some politicians still have principles about what is best for America.
