Some recent spouts from different municipalities seem upset that some city workers take home their work trucks to other towns. I guess no one ever figured that those employees might be on call. They might be expected to go back to work at any time. And they might be expected to go right to the problem and not have time to go to the public works yard to get a truck and/or tools. People who have never had to be responsible for around-the-clock duties are just being small-minded.
