On our street there are three homes that just had a landscaper put poison/fertilizer all over the lawn, sidewalk, driveway, and 5' out into the street. We also had four stone lawns sprayed with hundreds of gallons of glyphosate poison. Even the "mulch" the landscapers often put down is painted black with a toxic pigment. Avalon's Environmental Council should stop trying to cut down the few remaining trees, and instead should figure out how to stop the aforementioned poison products from putting people and animals at risk. Many of the pesticide applicators have become very sick.
