Although I am not happy about another town-wide reassessment in NW, I am happy that the new tax assessor has handled it in a professional manor and not trying to rip off the taxpayer. This is unlike the 2007-08 reassessment fiasco that was managed by a politically-connected new hire with little experience who is no longer working for the city. Glad this part-time position worked out better, for the taxpayer and the city, than the previous full-time hire.
