A report in a daily paper states that Wildwood leads the county in indictable offenses. My question is if the county prosecutor and local police ever did any comprehensive studies about why this figure for Wildwood, a major tourist destination, is so high? Who is responsible for driving this crime rate; out-of-towners, the types of visitors we draw, young offenders, etc.? If we don't get to the bottom of this shameful statistic, nothing will change, and we'll continue to lose all-important families.
