For the most part, the new sidewalks downtown in Sea Isle look pretty good, except for directly in front of the Ocean Drive Club front doors where the contractor attempted a patch-up job. These patch-ups never last and look very bad, water will seep down and in the winter it will freeze and the patch job will break into pieces. Before the contractor leaves town, let's make him replace the entire section as we are paying for a perfect job, not a patch-up. Far too many times this type of sloppy work gets by only to be repaired later at our expense.
