We do live in unusual, unprecedentedly dangerous times, with unpredictable, unseen terrorism. My feeling, and I suppose even those reluctant to admit it, is that our next president must be someone with proven, tested foreign policy experience. One candidate is a governor, with some congressional experience, another is a new senator, the other is some kind of showman-businessman. Sanders was a mayor, and a Socialist senator. That leaves Hillary with three decades of political experience, with three years in foreign diplomacy.
