To clarify about the utility polls: They did not just appear overnight. They have been discussed by Council for some time and notices have been posted on the town website. They are not hooked up, yet thus we still might have power issues. By the way, underground wiring was not a financially feasible option and was discussed. AC Electric is incurring the cost, not the taxpayers, as we each would be for underground wiring. Underground wiring is not without issues. You can still lose power, as we did in the fingers for two days.
