I drove through Villas recently after living in Oregon for many, many years. The town has changed and the town has stayed the same. I have a lot of great childhood memories here. St. Raymond's is still here, but different. Gaiss's looks as I remembered it. What happened to Villas 5 & 10? We used to call it Clem's 5 & 10. I loved their penny candy! The Sweet Briar is still there, but it looks a whole lot different. The Delaware Bay is still here. It still smells awful at low tide. While Smitty's is gone, the Villas Fishing Club remains. I miss the old days.
