OCHS does have a serious drug problem, but they hide it better than most schools. Academically, they are overrated. It has a low passing grade to ensure more kids pass. It has a terrible rotating bell schedule that is as discredited as block scheduling. I know many people think that OCHS is great, and many schools want to copy what it does, but OCHS is an example of how not to run a high school. It is the ultimate good old boy network. None of the teachers there feel free to speak up out of fear of retribution.
