I don't live in Middle, but I'm still depressed about the election there. As a D-ville resident who deals with government all the time, I have been jealous watching how well Middle has been run and how open and responsive they have been. They didn't hire their friends and family. They didn't raise taxes. They didn't just replace one group of cronies with another. They hired the best administrator in the county and rewarded employees for ideas and hard work, not political connections. Then they lose? These guys did it right and did it the hard way. People are so clueless.
