The spouter who states government is a business is incorrect. The purpose of government is to protect the rights of citizens. Unfortunately, government has grown out of control. It gets involved in too many services it is not qualified to perform in an efficient manner, spending and employee benefits are out of control. I advocate privatization. Competitively bidding services to private firms, police, water, trash, fire, etc. The firms can perform efficiently and cost effectively. Workers' benefits would be in line with the private sector. Jobs would be created and taxes would be lower.
