As someone who did wear a uniform and go through the stresses of combat, I have to disagree with a Wildwood spouter who said, "Interesting how somebody who never wore a uniform, served in a war zone, or underwent the stresses of life in combat is calling for Bowe Bergdahl's execution." While he may deserve it, it is unlikely that he would be executed for desertion. No one has been since Private Slovik in WWII. But incarceration is not out of order, although may have earned some "time served" credit.
