In the middle of a Nor'Easter on the 400 block of 19th Street Oct. 2, I saw a street sweeper cleaning the empty and spotless street. I think a sweeper truck cost more than $100,000 plus the salary and benefits provided to the driver is a waste of taxpayer dollars. These machines and positions belong in the inner city, not a resort town that is empty for the next eight months. This only goes to show how the city and administration waste taxpayer dollars.
