Why can't Wildwood get a fixed span bridge? There are two over the Cape May Canal, one in Avalon, and Sea Isle and North Wildwood have fixed span. Wildwood has George Redding, which seems to have endless, ongoing repairs that must cost tons of money, and closes one lane most days of the year, even now in July. Wouldn't a fixed span make a whole lot more sense?
