I know my property has lost all value with the new rumble strip. Big government flexing it's spending muscles with no regard to property owners. The Federal Highway Administration website states agencies do not have to put strips in where homes are too close to the road or on bends where tires may come in contact frequently with the strip. It would have been cheaper discussing this with residents, then having to fill it in. Residents in other states have had them removed and so will we. Call or email the DOT and let them know.
