New Jersey is finally organizing to speak out against the PARCC. Parents are saying no. At least 40 towns’ school boards have recently passed humane opt-out/refusal policies. None in Cape May County yet! Now is the time to ask your school board and superintendent to do the same. Don't let them bully you. Parents, your children have a right to more than sitting quietly in front of a computer for hours while others are testing. Parents should ask their districts about these policies directly, since districts may keep policies quiet so as not to inform parents. We must stand together.
