Regarding a recent tailgating spout: Just what exactly is the purpose of driving only inches away from the car in front of you? Since you can't fly over that car, why would you drive so close? It's not likely to make the other driver speed up. It is an accident waiting to happen, and cops no longer seem to issue any summons, even when they themselves are victims.
