People outside Wildwood may be confused by the Watchdog group's focus on the police budget, but most Wildwood property owners are not confused. Oversight of public derived funds should be welcomed by a town council that represents all residents and taxpayers. I applaud all dedicated policemen, firemen, city council and employees in Wildwood who do not abdicate their responsibility to provide and/or execute a sound fiscal management policy that avoids nepotism and unproductive behavior. Since town council has no oversight over the school budget, we may also need a school Watchdog group!
