It seems you must know someone in the county in order to get a job in the school districts. At Lower, most of the maintenance is somehow related to the boss. At Middle, they just hired a local, retired county employee as the custodian who had connections. I also noticed how many county retirees collecting pensions have the inside track for these jobs.
