Certain spouters continue to misrepresent the argument to better control the J-1 Visa program, somehow comparing it with the question of the southern border. What Governor Kean and many others are saying is that in this era, when Europeans can come here only with a visa, unchecked as with passports, how do we know who is coming here? To compound this problem, hundreds of J-1 students overstay their time and disappear into America. Could some of them possibly be terrorists?
