A Middle Twp. spouter said "Not everyone here relies on tourism anyway and many would like a smaller, local population if tourism faded." We all know that would be folly, unless we wanted to live on farms or fishing villages. It is not correct that the beaches will always be there to attract tourists. Without the jobs created by the building and servicing of the occupants of those homes at or near the beach, we would be reduced to living like the 1880's here. There is almost no industry, and we are not geographically located to ever attract commerce or industry other than tourism.
