The Avalon anti-NRA spouter failed to take note that there are laws prohibiting selling guns to mentally ill people. However, there are more laws that prohibit anyone finding the information that someone is mentally ill. We are more prepared to protect the privacy of the mentally ill than we are to protect the general welfare of the rest of the populace. Most of these deranged killers are known to family and the medical community as dangerous, but no one is allowed to disclose the fact that these people are dangerously, mentally ill. Who should we protect?
