Thank you to the petitioners for halting the spending by the commissioners in a bond ordinance totaling $603,000. Now, wait to see if they do what the petitioners asked for in the same petition; refinance for the $173,000 to get the road work on Poplar Ave. done, that will be reimbursed by the State D.O.T. grant. They have until Dec. 2015 to do this and get the road work done to qualify for the grant. Will they do right by the taxpayers or lose the grant?
