The parkway construction has resulted in summer traffic jams on the parkway and Route 9. Van Drew knew what he was doing when he moved his office off Rt. 9. With many years of experience as an engineer, it seems to me the least costly way to deal with the traffic light elimination would have been to take the cross roads over the parkway. It would've been less expensive with less traffic jams.
