We chuckle in reading Crest spouts pushing island consolidation. Somewhere in the Herald's archives of the late 70's is a consolidation study done by Dr. J. Falzetta showing how much more in taxes the Crest would spend if there was one island government, mostly because of Wildwood's specific needs. His report dampened Crest enthusiasm for any consolidation. Be careful what you wish for, Crest spouters.
