While Art Hall and his staff are horrified that a poor person would use an ambulance as a taxi cab, I am horrified that some ambulance company would charge medicaid $3,800 for a ride from Wildwood to Court House. If your argument is that the ambulance has professionals who are trained to save lives on board, than you can ask yourself, "How much are these professionals paid?" $21 dollars an hour? $19 dollars an hour? What would then justify the charging of $3,800 to the American taxpayer Hall cares so much about? Who is the welfare cheat?
